*****Every student is expected to pass 6 AR Quizzes.
Spelling Bee and State Bee each Friday until the end of the year.
*A complete sentence has a subject and a predicate. Do not begin a sentence with but or and.
Grammar: Synonyms words that have the same meaning
Review: 5 parts of a letter
Heading, Greeting, Body, Closing, Signature
Review: Noun, Verb, Adjecitve
Math: Topic 13 and 14 Multiplication and Division
Review for End of Year Math Test
6:30 30 minutes after 6 or half past 6
6:45 forty-five minutes after 6 or a quarter to 7
Review: subtraction with regrouping, money and fractions
***Be sure to practice math (+) & (-) facts every night. At this time students should not be using their fingers to add and subtract.... PLEASE help them memorize thier fasts.
Students need to show their work using number sentences.
Code Words:
Addition: in all, altogether, sum, both, total, addition, plus, join
Subtraction: left, fewer, less, difference, more than (comparing) take away
