Students in 1st through 6th grade come to music class at least once a week and on rotating Fridays. Each grade level has a variety of sequential musical experiences throughout the school year including singing, reading, and listening to music of various styles. Students in the 4th through 6th grade also experience learning to play the recorder. All students have the opportunity to enjoy playing classroom percussion instruments and moving through games and dances. I look forward to seeing you in class.
