General Information : Homework is usually a carryover of work that students do not complete in class. The ledger is a good idea what the student should have completed in class. Anything left behind the homework divider is work due tomorrow unless it is a weekly homework assignment such as Spelling (test on Friday) or the Daily Language Review (graded each day after Monday)Example: Monday's will be checked on Tuesday, Tuesday's is checked on Wednesday, etc. If we have a short week we will double up one night to catch up and be on schedule. If we have Friday off, all work is due on Thursday.
Homework should be highlighted. ( students may not highlight, if it is classwork they just didn't finish and turn in, so check notebook to see if any remains.
Ledger-Parents should check the student's ledger daily, but you will only need to sign it on Friday. Please sign with a full signature for authentication. This will insure that you know about what is going on in your child's day. If there is a problem you will catch it early and help resolve any problems. Your child's citizenship grade on the report card will be a reflection of the ledger. Example: The teacher of each class will note the rule broken if there is a sign-in such as PB 4 (Personal Behavior 4 which is talking at inappropriate times. ) or, (WS 9- which is not having homework. These are 2 of the rules that are broken the most. You will be able to decipher what in infraction is by looking at the list of Rules in the plastic sleeve (gree
