I believe literacy is FREEDOM.
I believe that as a classroom teacher it is my responsibility to help all students learn to read, write, problem-solve, and think for themselves. I love what I do, and I plan to do it for a long time.
It is imperative that I have a relationship with each child and his/her family.
I work hard to meet each child's individual needs, and at the same time fulfill the second grade curriculum requirements.
When I think of each child, I think of them not only as my student right now, but as the person that he/she will grow into over the course of his/her life . My goal is to provide an education that will allow all of my students to tell their story with promise and pride.
