Welcome to my ACE classroom where my students are Buggy About Learning! This year marks my 4th year of teaching here at Beckham Elementary. This year is off to a great start of learning All About Me and Being A Leader at My School, U.S. Government and Living in Early America. While these topics are only the tip of the iceberg, Unique Learning System (ULS) continues to provide engaging monthly topics in the core subjects of: Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Social Studies tailored for special learners. New this year, ULS offers
access to supplementary lessons involving Earth Science and Physical Science topics/experiments for students to explore as well. The students already made the milky way galaxy this year through art expression and learned about the relationship of the sun, moon, stars and our earth. We sang "Hooray For The World" Music Therapy to enhance our lessons with music.
All About Apples Day is coming up in our Science Lab where students will count seeds, pick apples from the tree for fine motor skills, make apple tree puppets and so much more. We here in ACE always support our lessons with learning opportunities in the areas of Sensory, Art, Motor and Music. Our NEW Bright Link technology takes our students to the next level where the students can work out fractions, conduct experiments, etc. hands on with the magic pen on the board. It's something you have to see!! Come by anytime and check out how we incorporate this state of the art technology.
We here in ACE continue to serve our students through the following therapies: Music Therapy, Speech Therapy, Adaptive P.E., Library and Gym/Motor Lab.
I am always available to meet with you about your child's progress during my conference period: M-F 9:45am-10:30am. You may call me directly at: 682-867-6659.
As your child's teacher, acceptance of YOUR child is priority one!! It starts with the heart, not with the eyes. Thank you for sharing your child with me here at Beckham.
